[movies]Classic Commercial: Ken-L Ration Dog Food (1959)
Another of those rabbit-like classic commercial uploads. This commercial is for "Ken-L Ration", a now defunct brand of dog food. This vintage commercial, from early 1959, is an oddly charming reminder that pets and babies have been combined in advertising for many, many years. (this commercial comes from uncopyrighted 4th March 1959 TV-episode, also to be found on this website)

[movies]1958 Television Commercial for Ken-L Dog Food
Another of the many classic 1950's commercials uploaded to this site. This one, a dog food commercial from late 1958, is syrupy, saccharine, treacly, contrived, cornball, cutesy, and andsentimental, yet somehow, is still better than most commercials being made at the time of film being uploaded (september 2009). Taken from public domain TV episode from the 10th of December 1958 (complete tele-episode can be found elsewhere on this website).

[movies]Misc episode of ''You Asked For It'' #6
Another misc episode of the 1950s American television series "You Asked for It", featuring the following: A race between an abacus and a then-modern calculating machine, the secrets of phony spiritualists, a Calypso song and dance, and TV wrestler Georgous George doing card tricks. Judging by the reference to 1951, it is likely this aired on the now-defunct DuMont Television Network. Complete with original commercials for Skippy Peanut Butter...
